Hola greetings from Mexico,
This is a trial run for Race Eckles blog page. Here are a few photos from Mexican Independance Day (Sept 16). We went with our friends, Nicolas, Karina and Karina. It was our first major outing, and we celebrated with about 25,000 other people in the Zocalo de Toluca (Toluca town square). Toluca is the capital of the State of Mexico where we live. At 11 pm everyone sang the National Anthem, except us of course, as we are not yet Mexicans. Then every single person got covered in foam spray that every single person seemed to have, again, except us. Then they shot off fireworks from the government buildings surrounding the Zocalo for an hour. We had on stage entertainment all evening by different groups. It was a fun time.

Awwww, a boy and his dog; there's nothing sweeter. Great pictures April! Race is just so stinkin' cute and smart! Glad he had a good 1st birthday. Your house looks very nice. It is so wonderful that Race is becoming multi-cultural, like his mother. Take care, miss you loads. PLEASE, keep the updates coming, makes you seem closer somehow.

I've put Race's blog in my favorites at work. So when I hang the phone up after talking to an idiot, I just bring up that cute little face and then I feel much better. Also my boss also agrees as I do and my sister. He is definitely the cutest little guy in the whole world. Can't wait for more pictures. Keep up the great job!
