Home for a week.

We finally saw our house for the first time in seven months. After being there a few days we got 3 or 4 inches of snow. Which didn't last long, but Race got to see it and play in it.

The first time in snow proved to be priceless. As you can see by the "what the ..." look on his face he wasn`t too sure what to think.

Back in the warm confines of the house it was on to another round of "I don't have a clue how the box of wipes ended up empty and all over the house" game.

Here is Race with his first remote control car. Evidently it was dirty, so Race took it to the "car wash" which was obviously hysterical. What was really funny was watching him freak out when the car chased him thru the livingroom (under his own control by the way).

And finally, to wrap up our way too short visit. We went down to Bill and Edie's place, where there was a mostly friendly game of hockey going on. As usual Race fits right in with a group of kids, as seen here with Samantha,Mason, and Allison (Dillon was tending goal on the other side of the room).

Next blog to follow will be our 1/2 day trip to Santa Fe. Adios for now.

Life in Mexico

Well life is still good in Mexico. We were invited to a friends house for dinner, a few drinks, cards and we also found a playground. Race had a really good time here, it's funny to see how small he looks compared to this big playset. This was the beginning of his first time on a playset, which can be summed up with one word........FEARLESS!!!!

Here he is in the top of it, it was non-stop action. As soon as his feet hit the ground off the slide it was back to the ladder for another round.

As much fun as the playset was he is equally content playing with his toys at home.

This is one of his newest tricks, let's climb anything that doesn't move...or moves very slow, poor Thai. At first this new skill took awhile, but now it's easy so he is moving on to bigger and better, just great.

This is how proud he is of his accomplishment.
